Welcome to the Scavenger Hunt...

You are going to be going on a little trip around our store that will eventually take you to the very cool (and very free) fun product of the month! Hopefully you will see some new and exciting items that you may not have known we carried and get inspired to scrap on National Scrapbooking Day, coming up on May 2nd.

Your first stop is going to be a visit to the Albums category in our store. I included a link there to make it easier for you. From there you may have to hunt in the album sub-categories to find the next clue, it will be at the bottom of one of the pages.

Spring Scrapbooking Contest

Join our latest contest to win a $10 gift certificate for our store! Simply create a spring-themed scrapbook layout (any size) and post it to the Cut Above Scrappin' Gallery to be entered to win!

Entry Instruction:

• Register as a member on our photo gallery
• Click on Upload File
• Upload your picture then click continue
• Select the "Contest" Album and fill out the Title & Description
• Email all your friends and family and tell them to rate your entry 5 stars!

It's a big day in the entertainment world as the Academy Awards are presented tonight! Every year there is buzz about the goodie bags and freebies that the actors are showered with. Well, we are going to shower YOU with goodies that we got from CHA! All you have to do is register on our photo gallery and upload a picture of a favorite layout, card or altered project you have done and email us at info@cutabovescrappin.com with your mailing address so we can send your item. We have finally recovered from our adventures at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) convention and want to share some fun pictures with you. After 3 full days, we almost covered the whole show...it is HUGE! Here are some of our highlights...

The Star Wars characters were at the Creative Imaginations booth posing for photos to promote the CI new line of Star Wars papers, stickers and more! We got to do a cute make n take with this photo and put it on a paper clip/magnet.

I was so excited to get a picture with Jennifer McGuire at the Hero Arts booth. She is so sweet and does amazing scrapbook layouts, cards and more! You can see her work and get fun ideas on her blog.



Here is Judy hard at work doing a Valentine's card make-n-take project, and the finished card below.




















A quick trip across the walkway to the Starbucks for a pick me up. About half way through the day, a vente Carmel Macchiato was in order!









Meeting Tim Holtz was one of the highlights of the show! He is so talented and creative and has amazing products! You can visit his blog to see some of his work.
